Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated in a mix of past and contemporary styles, and surprisingly quiet even during New Year's Eve. The only downside was that the room got extremely hot at night. The service was exceptional, with engaged staff who went above and beyond to fulfill our requests. The location was superb, offering a hip feel in a quiet square yet close to great dining spots and Union Square subway. The dining experience was enjoyable, although starting late on weekends. The hotel facilities were top-notch and added to the overall experience.
The hotel's rooms are a bit of a mixed bag - while the entrance sets high expectations, the actual rooms are smaller than anticipated and poorly decorated for the price paid. On the bright side, my room was ready for an early check-in on Monday morning, which was super convenient before heading to the hospital. However, the room would be cramped for more than one person.
My stay at the hotel was really fabulous. The room couldn't be cooled below 77 degrees, and they aren't totally soundproof, which is expected in an older building. However, the room was nice and spacious, and the location was good.
The hotel is in a prime location, perfect for exploring Manhattan. The rooms have an old-world style, which was a charming touch. However, the entrance was a bit difficult to find in the late hours after our long flight.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location is excellent with Gramercy Park just across the street, but the noise from private functions made it hard to enjoy some areas. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful, though there was one incident that left a bad impression. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with some awesome dishes and some disappointing elements. The facilities were good overall, but there were a few minor issues like hard-to-see buttons in the elevator.
The hotel has a dark, cozy atmosphere that may not suit everyone, but it was perfect for our family of four. Navigating the room lighting was a bit tricky at first, but the room itself was spacious and well-appointed. The service was friendly and very helpful, although there were some instances of disinterest from staff members. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to all parts of New York we visited. The dining experience left something to be desired with delayed service and limited explanations, but we appreciated the European bread. The facilities were well-maintained, but improvements in service attentiveness could enhance the overall experience.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were very clean, and I particularly enjoyed being able to open the window for fresh air. While they were a bit on the smaller side, even for NYC standards, the overall comfort was top-notch. The service was incredibly helpful and friendly, though a bit more explanation about the artwork would have been appreciated. The location was perfect for exploring all of Manhattan, with the added bonus of being relatively quiet compared to the bustling streets of New York. The dining experience was wonderful overall, but there was a slight delay in getting my coffee served. The facilities were great, though some areas could use a bit of upkeep. All in all, a fantastic value for money!
The hotel has a great location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, the dining options were lacking, and some areas need renovations. The front door luggage team and room maids stood out as exceptional.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a strong cigarette smell and were very noisy, making it hard to relax. However, the front door luggage team and room maids were excellent. Unfortunately, the bar downstairs kept me up all night, and the need for renovations was evident throughout the room.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms had a great view of the street on one side and the courtyard on the other, but they were too dark due to the lack of lighting. However, they were a decent size by NYC standards and had the best mini bar I have come across. The service was hit or miss - some staff members were attentive and on point, while others were unfriendly and unprofessional. The location was gorgeous with Gramercy Park across the street, but it seemed hard to get a drink due to private functions. The dining experience was slow, especially in the hotel restaurant. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel rooms were very small and expensive. Despite that, they were ready upon my early arrival on Monday morning, which allowed me to drop off my bag quickly before heading to the hospital. The rooms were decorated with ornate furniture, but the lighting setup was a bit tricky to navigate.
The hotel room was very small and very expensive, considering the furniture and carpeting. Facing a dirty wall for $1,000 per night was not ideal, and it can be noisy especially in higher rooms during events on the roof. Despite these drawbacks, the service was generally friendly and helpful, with a slight hiccup involving one staff member. The location was perfect for exploring Manhattan, but it could be a challenge to relax in the bar due to private events. The dining experience was wonderful, although the late weekend breakfast start and high rates at Gramercy Park Hotel were noticeable. The facilities were satisfactory overall, offering good amenities.
My stay at the hotel was simply fantastic. The rooms had a unique style that was both fun and very comfortable, blending a touch of the past with modern amenities seamlessly. The service was engaging, except for a minor hiccup, and the location was superb, offering easy access to various parts of New York. The dining experience had its drawbacks, but overall, I had a wonderful time at the hotel.
The hotel offers unique rooms with high-quality finishes, although some areas showed signs of wear and tear. The service was friendly and on top of their game, providing helpful directions and assistance. The location, while fantastic beside Gramercy Park, could be challenging due to private functions. The dining experience was disappointing at times. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and modern, but I had to call to have my room made up quite late in the day. The fitness center was also under-equipped. However, the hotel had a stylish ambiance from the lobby to the elevators, halls, and rooms.
